A Brand-New Chapter of Security Control – XH Smart Awarded Security Accreditation for Two Years upon Successful Renewal

Zhuhai, 30 March 2017 – Zhuhai XH Smartcard Co., Ltd (XH Smart) is awarded a 2 – year SAS certification (Security Accreditation Scheme) issued by GSMA (Global System for Mobile Communications Association) upon successful renewal. XH Smart demonstrates commitment to security, reduces risks and delivers a world-class security review of operations for its customers.

This audit is a re-certification assessment after XH Smart’s passing the first SAS audit in March 2016. SAS auditors came to the company and conducted a comprehensive and detailed audit on telecommunication card production area, including production safety policies and documents, information security, data management, logistics, production management, computer and network management, with a focus on areas to improve in the first SAS audit. With all relevant departments’ cooperation, XH Smart clearly demonstrated its technological expertise in this area to SAS auditors.

About GSMA SAS
 
The GSMA’s Security Accreditation Scheme (SAS) enables mobile operators, regardless of their resources or experience, to assess the security of their UICC SIM suppliers. It is a third-party security certification system introduced by the GSMA. Certified manufacturers demonstrate capability in providing high quality and high security standard products with international level in production safety, reliability and process management.

EU stipulates that all manufacturers of smartcards sold in the European market must obtain GSMA SAS certification.
